Ughhhh. I left my cell phone at home today. I feel totally naked. I hate that feeling. It was just one of those mornings- I'm lucky I even remembered to get dressed. Little Red didn't want to get his hiney in gear, plus I had about 4 hours of sleep. I am weak. I let LR wear his pj top as a shirt because he freaked out on me for trying to take it off- Don't judge me. Then he cried most of the way to school and hung on my leg like a monkey all the way inside. He was shouting at the top of his lungs, "I wanna go home, wiiiiiiight now Mommy! Doooooooooo yooooooooooooou heaw me?" I pretended I didn't as I left the building. Don't judge me on this either.
My cold is progressing nicely. The snot has left my head and entered my chest. I am now left with a barking cough and nasty snot situation. It's sexy, I'll just tell ya. I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon, so hopefully he'll work some magic and I'll actually get some sleep tonight. All of my coworkers are loving the sounds of my hacking and my voice has this lovely raspiness to it.
Please say a little prayer that I'll survive the day and be able to handle my whiny 2.5 year old and potty-training pup this evening while Mr. Sass works on the Jeep. Have I mentioned we are going riding this weekend? I'm so excited I can't stand it (insert eye roll and major sarcasm). Maybe I can get a doctor's excuse.

Awww ... poor girl! I hope your day picks up - just throw in some sort of contagious symptom that the doc will have to give you an antibiotic for. Hee, hee. Prescriptions are great! :o)
I hate that you've been down with the sickness. I think mine was allergies and I was positive that I was going to die and would have been happier about it.
I'm sure the doctor told you to get: bottle of Crown Royal (better than cough meds), Vick's, Mucinex, Motrin, and lots of fluids.
(((HUGS)))
I hope you're feeling better and taht the dr. gave you some great meds!
Isn't "Toes" the greatest? My husband and I were just talking the other day about how it will never be on the radio b/c how would you edit it? I love that you tell your son "eyes on the sand"!
Did you live??? I wouldn't be able to live without my phone. It's my life-line! I'm such a loser.
I hope you're feeling better too! Green snot is NOT our friend!
